Michelle joined Atomist because the company didn’t have a set marketing strategy.
1. Atomist is a relatively new business. They’ve only been around for a year which means they didn’t have much built from a marketing standpoint.
2. While company executives and developers were doing their best on the marketing front, Atomist had very few resources to execute.
3. Additionally, Atomist didn’t have single source of truth (SSOT) to track the path to purchase or retain customers. This was a huge priority for the leadership at Atomist.
Atomist users are very technical, so Michelle needed an agency that understood communicating to the cloud native developer audience or decision maker.
After Michelle was introduced to MKG she made the decision to let our team help Atomist with SEO, SEM and Analytics.
“I was impressed by their experience, and that they listened to my business needs. Unlike their competitors, MKG Marketing didn’t stick to a cookie-cutter system. Instead, they created a custom solution that would fit our needs and they stuck to a designated timeline.”

Michelle knew exactly what she wanted to get from this project.
After our initial kickoff, the MKG team was off and running.
In two weeks, we delivered a report on keywords that Atomist should use on the SEO front.
Next, we completed a technical audit and organized their Google Analytics profile to clean up their data and reporting.
The project that came next focused on overhauling their search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns across Google and Microsoft Ads.
“I fully intend to continue working with MKG Marketing. For startups like us, it’s really important to have experts we can lean on. I would give them a 10 out of 10.”

Michelle was really impressed by our quick turnaround time.
As we continued working together, she was also impressed by our way of approaching things.
“While they listened to my needs, they were also really thoughtful about inserting their opinions and offering best practices. They came up with some awesome ways to accomplish certain tasks that I wouldn’t have thought of.” - Michelle Urban, Atomist
