Are you looking for an opportunity to build success for complex B2B clients using digital sales funnels, and work at an empathy driven company that prioritizes work/life boundaries? At MKG you will be the lead digital advertising expert for your clients, recommending demand gen digital advertising strategies and tactics. You’ll also create and optimize the campaigns that help drive client KPIs.

You’ll work on a team with an account director, SEO expert, analytics expert, and digital marketing expert. You’ll also join a team with senior experience (8+ years) and be encouraged to brainstorm and collaborate with peers.

Key Skills Required

8+ years of experience working in digital marketing

  • Current experience owning paid digital media campaigns
  • Client experience should include working in B2B with a demand gen sales funnel
  • Experience presenting data driven results and recommendations to clients
  • Comfortable working independently, but also looking for a team to build success with and confident + sharing ideas and opportunities

Client Skills

Ability to interpret client goals, and support those goals through the creation of paid media strategies, customer journeys, and sales funnels. Check in with clients periodically to align PPC efforts with client priorities. Identifying opportunities and strategy shifts based on paid media industry trends and platform-specific updates.

Be realistic and solution-oriented with clients. If something isn’t going great performance-wise, call it out, offer insight into why performance is struggling, and present a solution and a plan to fix it moving forward.

Attend client calls and lead PPC discussions; use calls to communicate and collaborate with clients on PPC strategy. Reach out to clients proactively in between calls leveraging over-communication to push client initiatives forward.

Comfort running B2B paid ads in Google, Microsoft, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Opportunities aren’t limited to these channels, but these are foundational experiences needed. Comfortable managing complex budgets, performing keyword research, ad copy writing for paid text ads, and strong attention to detail for QA.

Leverage CRM lists to build re-marketing and lookalike audiences for effective targeting. Map efforts appropriately to their level of intent, using content and trial at the right times.Recommend budgets based on client goals and channel opportunities. Weekly budget pacing with monthly reconciliation.

Analytics

Review weekly reporting from analytics teams to identify trends or anomalies to investigate

Provide insights on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reporting as needed, as well as work with the analytics teams to refine reporting to better help with insights and ultimately optimization

Review landing pages and underlying analytics data, along with competitive and best practice landing pages to give recommendations to client for testing

Media Planning (nice to have)

Identify & present growth opportunities and budget expansion recommendations to account directors, business development, and the client. Examples include, but are not limited to: increasing share of voice in existing platforms, testing new platforms/tactics, or better alignment with client sales objectives

Plan paid media strategy and budgets, building upon current programs for existing clients and developing a paid media strategy for new clients

Collaborate with the analytics team on performance forecasting for KPI goals by sharing PPC data and insights to help inform forecasts
