Jenna has had a very well rounded marketing education spanning 9+ years. She started in branding and packaging design in San Francisco at a small agency. After getting very interested in social media marketing (baby Twitter) she went to AKQA where she worked in digital account management, social media strategy, social analytics, and community management. It was an exciting time to work in social because organic brand presence had so much opportunity then. Next, she went to an full-service agency and got a crash course in traditional marketing, including events. She was also part of an in-agency team focusing on social and digital asset management for the agency and clients. She moved to New Orleans in 2014 and spent a couple of years at a local agency before joining the MKG team.
Jenna joined MKG because of our value people first. Putting employees first is rare in this business, and rarer still, and MKG means it! She also loves the opportunity to focus on specific areas of marketing rather than need to be good at everything and master at none. And last, but not least, she loves working in a field that is constantly evolving.
Jenna is a Vermonter. After spending 8+ years in San Francisco she and her husband decided to move to New Orleans to be closer to her husband’s family. They now spend their days enjoying the cuisine and climate of New Orleans, and trying to keep up with their son Noah, two silly dogs, and one disgruntled cat.
Fun facts, Jenna has taken two sabbaticals between jobs that have taken her all over Europe, Thailand, across the northern U.S. coast to coast. She’s looking forward to visiting more of the South now that New Orleans is her home base.
