MKG Marketing has utilized BrightEdge to drive record-breaking first half 2018 organic search metrics for Informatica, an enterprise cloud data management company. These metrics include session growth, better crawl metrics, more organic search user form fills and increased organic search pipeline create.
Data Cube helped us find keyword targets to drive our on-page SEO strategy. Specifically, looking at search volume, competition and universal listing opportunities has fueled our organic search exposure. Q1 2018 was a record-breaking quarter, producing the highest quarterly organic traffic Informatica has ever generated with +32% Y/Y growth. Q2 2018 broke Q1's quarterly record. Combined, the first half of 2018 has generated a +23% increase in organic search sessions for Informatica.com.
ContentIQ allowed the team to clean up technical issues. Focusing on fixing severe and moderate issues from this site audit tool has allowed Informatica to have +12% more pages indexed in Google Search looking at the beginning of 2018 to the end of June. More pages included in the index equal more opportunities to rank.
Both of these tactics combined has Google Search Console reporting a +173% increase in organic search impressions from the first half of 2018 vs 2017.
Form fills from organic search users have flourished due to these metrics. Following organic search's footsteps, Q1 2018 was a record-breaking quarter with +93% more form fills Y/Y. Q2 2018 broke Q1's quarterly record for this metric as well. Combined, the first half of 2018 has generated a +73% increase in organic search form fills for Informatica.com.
Perhaps most important is how BrightEdge has helped Informatica's bottom line: organic search pipeline create. The first half of 2018 was a record-breaking period, with the highest first half of the year organic pipeline created ever. This was an 8% increase Y/Y.
